Skill level: intermediate

MATERIALS

You will need two skeins of St. George Tango to make this toy.

If you are using the same or similar yarn, Cactus in a Pot is approximately 22cm tall.
Main colour for the body: St. George Tango
Eyes: NO Plastic Eyes
Crochet hook: No. 2mm
Stuffing: Fiberfill
You will also need a tapestry needle and scissors.
This pattern uses running stitch marker.
This is PATTERN ONLY for the CACTUS IN A POT ONLY and not the finished toy.

Finish off and close. Do not stuff the cactus firmly.

Step 5

FLOWER

Start with colour one.

Round 1. 8 sc in the magic ring (8)

Change colour with the last sc in the magic ring.

Round 2. BLO inc x 8 and join with the slip stitch (16)

Round 3. Chain 7, from 2nd chain from the hook do:

1 sc, 1 dc, 1 tr, 1tr, 1 dc, 1 sc, slip stitch in the next stitch.

Repeat this 16 times till you have 16 petals.

Finish off and leave a long tail for sewing the flower to the cactus.

With third colour, join the colour in the front loop of pistil, chain 4 and from the 2nd chain from the hook do:

1 sc, 1 dc, 1 sc and slip stitch in the next front loop.

Repeat this 8 times till you have 8 petals.

Finish off, cut the yarn and hide it.

Step 6
