MATERIALS

You will need a skein of St. George Tango to make this toy.

If you are using the same or similar yarn, Brain Keychain is approximately 4cm tall and 4cm wide.
Main colour for the body: St. George Tango
Eyes: NO Plastic Eyes
Crochet hook: No. 2mm
Stuffing: Fiberfill
You will also need a tapestry needle and scissors.
This pattern uses running stitch marker.

Materials

I used 4 ply mercerized cotton yarn for making this toy but you can use similar yarn or some other yarn of your choosing and crochet hook appropriate for that yarn. It’s 125 metres for 50g of yarn.
Crochet hook: No. 2 mm
Stuffing: Fiberfill
You will also need a tapestry needle and scissors.
This pattern uses running stitch marker.

Heart

First make one flat top of the heart in one

Finish off , leave a long tail, cut the yarn and close the

Step 2

Loop for a keyring

Pull the yarn through the heart between 2 halves, close
the hole and then with your crochet hook pull out the
yarn, chain 25 and slip stitch into the heart. Pull the
yarn through the heart and hide it.

Whipped cream topping

Rnd. 3. (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)

Rnd. 9. 6 sc; hdc; (hdc, dc) in the next stitch;

(dc, hdc) in the next stitch; 2 sc and then chain 4 and
from 2nd chain from the hook do 3 sc;

3 sc and then chain 5 and from 2nd chain from the

3 sc and then chain 6 and from 2nd chain from the
hook do 5 sc, 3 sc and then chain 7 and from 2nd chain from the
hook do 6 sc;

Finish off and leave a long tail for sewing whipped
cream topping to the top of the heart.
Refer to photos when you start sewing whipped
cream. This pattern allows you to skip this part if
you like your heart without it.

Stuff it with fiberfill

Finish off, leave a long tail, cut the yarn and close
the hole.

Step 5

Leaves

Chain 6 and from 2nd chain from the hook do: 1 sc, 1 trc, 1 trc, 1 dc, 1 sc. Repeat all this 3 more
times, slip stitch and finish off. Leave a tail for sewing leaves to the strawberry.

Stem

Chain 7 and from the 2nd chain from the hook do 6 sc. Sew the stem in the center of the leaves.
Embroider seeds with black yarn as you like.
